Adding Machine is a Bristol-based four-piece group active since 2011. The line-up includes Hazel Mills, Greg Stoddard, Andy Sutor and T.J. Allen.

Style and background

The group forms around a dark, post-punk-influenced sound with early Cocteau-style guitar shrieks, throbbing bass and rhythms inspired by Silver Apples. Hazel Mills contributes macabre pop vocals with a Siouxsie Sioux comparison, while the music combines a danceable feel with a more abrasive edge.
