Acres

Acres is an Atlanta rock band that plays across post-hardcore, post-metal, ambient, atmospheric and melodic hardcore. The group follows a path shaped by melody and melancholy, with heavier and more poignant material at the centre of its sound.

Career

The band’s debut album, Lonely World, arrives in 2019 and brings them significant attention. After that record, Acres play the biggest shows of their career up to that point. When the uncertainty of 2020 affects their plans, they choose not to rush out new material and instead spend time developing a release that reflects both where they have been and where they want to go.

Albums

Acres return in 2023 with Burning Throne, their second album. It presents a heavy, cathartic and melodic direction, and is described as some of the band’s most striking work to date.
