Absolutely

Absolutely is the recording name of Abby Lynn Keen, a singer and songwriter from the United Kingdom. She emerges in South London and begins releasing music in 2019 through a run of self-produced independent EPs. Her early work leads to attention from S10 Publishing, in partnership with BMG, at the start of 2020.

Songwriting and collaborations

She develops a profile as a songwriter for other artists and co-writes a number of notable tracks. These include “Fair” for Normani, “Get Together” for David Guetta, and several songs for Anitta’s album Versions of Me: “Faking Love” featuring Saweetie, “Gimme Your Number” with Ty Dolla $ign, “Gata” featuring Chencho Corleone, and “Maria Elegante” featuring Afro B. She also co-writes “Sueltate” for Sing 2.

Style and releases

Absolutely’s own music combines R&B-influenced pop with alternative elements and a forward-looking, experimental approach. She works with producer Dave Hamelin, known for work with Beyoncé and 070 Shake, and releases a series of singles in 2023 on Epic Records.
