Absentees

Absentees is the name of more than one band. One is a punk rock group from Detroit’s Downriver area. It forms in autumn 2009 when friends and former bandmates Matt Gawne and John Quillen start jamming with Tony Dunn. The band plays its first show on 8 January 2010 and records its first full-length album, Anywhere but Here, at Woodshed Studios on 16 June 2011.

Another Absentees is a chaotic hardcore band from the south of England. This group is signed to Church Road Records.
