Abadden

Abadden is a thrash metal group from Dunstable in the UK. The band forms around four members: Dan, Pat, Don and John, who come together with the aim of writing and performing heavy music. It releases one full-length album.

Style and influences

The group plays thrash metal with heavy metal elements, and its members bring a range of influences into the music. Dan is rooted in thrash and heavy metal, Patrick adds hard rock, progressive and heavy metal influences, Don draws on punk, metal, ska and blues, and John Blunt brings punk, blues, funk, ska and metal into the band’s sound.

Activity

By 2020, some of the members have moved on to form a new band called Must Kill. Abadden remains identified with fast, old school thrash metal and a live-focused approach, with an emphasis on playing energetic shows and writing songs that stand out.
