Aaron Lee Tasjan

Aaron Lee Tasjan is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer based in Nashville, Tennessee. His work moves across folk rock, classic country-rock, psychedelia, power pop and glam, and he is also associated with americana, folk, folk rock, roots rock and singer-songwriter styles.

Early life and background

Tasjan is born in Wilmington, United States, in 1986. He grows up in Ohio and studies at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in California.

Career

In his early twenties, Tasjan co-founds the glam-rock band Semi Precious Weapons with Justin Tranter. He later works as a guitarist and session player for several acts, including the New York Dolls, Drivin’ n’ Cryin’ and Alberta Cross. He is also linked with Drivin’ n’ Cryin’ and The Madison Square Gardeners.

As a solo artist, he releases In the Blazes in 2015, Silver Tears in 2016, Karma for Cheap in 2018, Tasjan! Tasjan! Tasjan! in 2021, Stellar Evolution in 2024 and Get Over It Underdog in 2026.

Tasjan is Grammy-nominated.
