Aardvark

Aardvark is a UK progressive rock band from the 1970s, from the United Kingdom. The group plays progressive rock and psychedelic rock, and is notable for its unusual line-up without a guitarist.

Paul Kossoff and Simon Kirke both play in the band before leaving to form Free. After their departure, Aardvark becomes mainly a recording group and releases one album. The line-up includes Stan Aldous on bass, Frank Clark on drums, Steve Milliner on keyboards, recorder and vibraphone, and Dave Skillin on vocals.

The band’s material centres on keyboards, especially a fuzzed-up Hammond organ. Peter Wood is also listed as a member.
