Aande is a Cardiff-based project by two musicians who have previously been involved with Hymn, Dirty Revolution, New Electric Ride, Hunt, Bomb Alaska, General Jumbo and Theramin. The music is strongly influenced by Morphine and uses a self-made two-string bass in place of the synthetic and chaotic elements associated with the earlier work of Hymn.

The project is described as being in its early stages, with only demos existing at the time of the available information. Its songs feature mostly spoken vocals, with occasional singing, and are presented as melodramatic pieces from a songwriter theme of being lost and alone.
