A Thousand Years is a name used by more than one act.

One A Thousand Years is the work of Zeké Africa, who grows up in Devon and is the son of a jazz pianist. He starts making music on Dance Ejay in his early teens and continues developing his approach over the following decade. He studies sound design in London and composes house music with a detailed, layered style. The name is inspired by science fiction and ideas about the future of mankind. This project releases music on the Canadian label King Deluxe Records.

UK band later known as The Liaison

Another act using the name A Thousand Years is a five-piece pop rock band from Guildford in the UK. Its first single, Let Me In!, is produced by Jason Wilcock and appears in 2007. After a hiatus, the band reforms with a changed line-up and adopts the name The Liaison. Under that name, it records two tracks, We Are and Say Anything, at The Ranch Production House. The new material is described as showing a lighter sound, and the band goes on to play live with acts including Attack Attack!.
