A Den Of Robbers

A Den Of Robbers is a punk group from Ghent, Belgium. It forms in 2006 and is active until 2013. The group begins as a grindcore project, with Isaac, formerly of Leng Tch'e and Bob's Bizare Bazaar, and Stijn trying to put a new band together for some time before joining forces with Dieter and Jonas, who come from Kruagre and Crust Deluxe.

By January 2007 the four decide to move from rehearsing to gigging and recording, and Isaac gives the band its name. The first live shows follow in March 2007. In July 2007 the group records 19 songs intended for a range of releases, including compilations and split 7-inch records. Eight of those songs later appear on a split 7-inch with Swedish band FromTheAshes on I Hate Humanity Rex, while another track appears on the Belgium's Burning compilation 7-inch; both releases come out in January 2008.

In September 2008 the band tours overseas with $ylvester $taline and plays the Blastonbury festival. After returning home, it performs at the Bloodshed festival and records 28 more songs for later releases.
