5:15

5:15 is a mod revival power trio from Australia, active in the early 1980s. The group takes its name from “5:15”, a song on The Who’s Quadrophenia.

The line-up consists of Gary Lake on vocals and guitar, Ces Meninicelli on bass, and Ron Williams on drums. Their recorded output is limited to one single, “Don’t Think Twice (If You Can’t Think At All)”, issued by Au Go Go and backed with “Heart Works Overtime”.

Their music combines power pop, new wave, and mod-related rock. Although their success is limited, their release later becomes a collector’s item and attracts a cult following.
