2hollis is the professional name of Hollis Frazier-Herndon, an American singer, rapper and producer from Chicago, and he grows up in Los Angeles. He is born in 2004. His father is the drummer in the band Tortoise.

Career

He starts making music in 2018 under the name drippysoup before changing to 2hollis in 2020. Early material from this period appears on SoundCloud, although much of it is later removed in late 2022 around the time of PLASTER. His music draws on cloud rap, digicore, EDM, electropop and experimental hip hop, with other influences including electroclash, dance-pop and related electronic styles.

Releases and recognition

2hollis first gains wider attention with the 2022 album White Tiger. He makes several music videos for tracks from it, including king of the darkness and safety. In 2023, he releases the album 2, and several songs from it appear in video games: poster boy is included on the soundtrack to EA Sports FC 24, and FORFEIT appears in F1 23. In 2024, singles such as crush and trauma contribute to a broader rise in profile, followed by the studio album Boy. In 2025, he releases his fifth studio album, Star.

Live activity

He appears as an opening act on Ken Carson's 2024 tour, The Chaos Tour, and afterwards announces his first North American tour, Leg One.
