2020 Soundsystem

2020 Soundsystem is a Leeds-based indie electronic group active from 2003 to 2013. The line-up includes Ralph Lawson, Danny Ward, Fernando Pulichino and Julian Sanza. The group works across dance and electronica, with tags associated with house, tech house, electronic, electro and minimal techno.

The band builds its reputation as a live act through the UK festival circuit and underground clubs, as well as through performances in festivals and so-called dirty discos. Its debut album, No Order, appears in 2006 and receives strong critical attention, including five-star reviews and album-of-the-month recognition in music magazines. The group tours internationally, including in Argentina, Australia and across Europe, and plays major festivals such as Sonar, T in the Park, Monegros, Skolbeats, Exit, Global Gathering, Creamfields, Fortdance and 10 Days Off.

In the studio, the members have experience producing remix work for Fatboy Slim, Felix da Housecat, Nightmares on Wax, Blaze, Chicken Lips, Rae & Christian, James Holden, AIM, Peace Division, Dirt Crew and Mondo Grosso, among others. The group also records a second album after its debut.
