16bit

16bit is a London-based dubstep duo made up of Eddie Jefferys and Jason Morrison, who also record under the names DRT and Kidnappa. The group is active from 2007 to 2012 and works across dance, dub, dubstep, electronic, electronica and grime.

Career

Jefferys and Morrison work together as 16bit from 2008 and split in 2012. During that period, they play sets in different countries and build a reputation in the dubstep scene, with their dubplates played by artists including Chef and Rusko.

Recordings and labels

16bit releases music on Boka, Destpub, Urban Essentials, Sequence, Southside Dubstars, Heavy Artillery, Veri Lo, Mindset and Dub & Run. They are also associated with MTA Records.
