13 bats

13 Bats is a Spanish psychobilly group that begins in September 2008. The act consists of Batbones, who performs vocals and omnichord, and Corvus, who plays bass, guitar and drums/keyboards.

Style and influences

The group combines psychobilly with gothic deathrock, drawing on early goth and Batcave acts such as Specimen, Alien Sex Fiend, Christian Death, Southern Death Cult, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and Joy Division, as well as later deathrock acts including Cinema Strange, Bloody Dead and Sexy, Eat Your Make Up and The Cemetery Girlz.

Releases

Its debut song, “The Cry”, appears in mid-2009. The group then releases its debut EP, Dust, in 2010.
