ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL announces it's 2017 headliners

Festival Crowd Header

The incredible ARCTANGENT FESTIVAL 2017 (ATG) is GO! Set on Fernhill Farm, Bristol, tickets are now on sale and the dates are set, August 17th/18th/19th.

The 2017 headliners were announced exclusively last night on the Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P Carter, and they are:
Converge and Explosions In The Sky. The next announcement for the festival will be on February 10th 2017, where another 10 brilliant bands will be revealed.

Massachusetts pioneers of extreme, abrasive music, Converge are regarded as one of the most original and innovative bands to emerge from the punk underground. From Converge front man, Jacob Bannon -
"It's a great honour for Converge to be performing at this year's Arctangent Festival. Every year to date the lineup has been relevant and diverse, two great qualities that we like to see in festivals."

Texas’ Explosions in the Sky are a band who somehow mix shoegaze, electronic experimentation, punk damaged dub, noise, and ambient folk without a hint of contrivance.
