The summer’s top music, food and family festival, Jamie Oliver & Alex James present The Big Feastival, returns with a bang this year with its best line-up yet.

As the festival moves into its third year on the farm and its following continues to grow, DJ Fatboy Slim will headline with a storming Saturday night set. On Sunday Jamie Cullum will take to the main stage, rocking his distinctive jazz-pop tunes.

Also confirmed to appear is American R&B sensation Kelis, performing songs from her aptly-named new album ‘FOOD’. Indie folk heroes Stornoway, family three-piece Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, acoustic star Jack Savoretti, reggae rhythm masters The Lee Thompson Ska Orchestra and genre dodging Molotov Jukebox also join Big Feastival favourites Norman Jay MBE, The Cuban Brothers and Duke to complete the first music line up announcement.

Following last year’s success, Jamie and Alex will be getting the festivities started early this year, with a full Friday programme added to the festival for the first time.  On hand to get everyone in the party mood, pop connoisseurs Guilty Pleasures will be hosting the main stage with DJ Sets from Sean Rowley and special guest appearances from the incredible Bjorn Again and Fleetwood Bac.

It wouldn’t be The Big Feastival without  the hottest chefs providing their top tips in live demos.   Joining host Jamie Oliver on the AEG Big Kitchen stage is his culinary mentor and one half of the BBC’s The Two Greedy Italians Gennaro Contaldo and Le Gavroche Sous Chef Monica Galetti, fresh from the MasterChef: The Professionals kitchen.   Heston Blumenthal’s protégé and Head Chef of the award-winning Dinner Ashley Palmer-Watts will also be taking to the stage, alongside Two Star Michelin chef Nathan Outlaw and the inspirational Valentine Warner.  Also returning to The Big Feastival is barbeque extraordinaire, Christian Stevenson, AKA DJ BBQ.  In true Big Feastival style, there will be a whole host of gourmet food offerings to suit every taste with more details to be revealed soon.

The Big Feastival isn’t saving all the fun for the grown-ups; with family entertainment including the brilliant Adam Henson’s Cotswolds Farm Park making a welcome return to the festival, giving kids of all ages the chance to meet some of their favourite furry and feathered friends.   With the Little Dudes Den, the Big Top tent, a vintage funfair and some very special guests still to be announced, there is something for everyone at this year’s event.

Alex James said, “The Big Feastival gets bigger and better every year – I can’t wait.  It’s going to be one hell of a party!”

Jamie Oliver added, “Three full days of great music, delicious food and good times for all the family – get involved before tickets are gone and it’s too late!”
