Butserfest announces its Backstage Acoustic Shack lineup for 2016

Since 2012 a select number of Butserfest artists have been making additional appearances at the festival, performing backstage in the press area in a permanent wooden structure lovingly named The Acoustic Shack.

The Acoustic Shack has been visited by dozens of amazing bands over the last 4 years, including Mallory Knox, The Blackout and Don Broco, with their intimate unplugged acoustics delighting small numbers of fans lucky enough to win entry through competitions run via the Butserfest social pages.

Up until now these rather awesome sets have been kept a bit of an exclusive secret, known only to the diehard Butserfest fans who keep an eye on our socials. Now it's time to let the cat out of the bag, because quite frankly these acoustic sets are a little bit special and we want everyone to know about them!

This year we're super stoked to announce that the acts visiting the Shack for our 10 year anniversary are

YOUNG GUNS
MOOSE BLOOD
AS IT IS
AREA 11
CASEY
ASHESTOANGELS
THE GOSPEL YOUTH

Butserfest ticket holders wishing to get into these backstage sets can only gain entry by winning a pair of Acoustic Shack wristbands, by entering competitions run by the bands online during July and August.

Times will be revealed a little closer to the event date, but for anyone worrying about clashes, rest assured that acoustic sets will not clash with any main stage bands, because they take place during main stage changeovers.
