Thursday 13th September 2012 – Cheryl has announced that hip-hop and pop star Tinchy Stryder will be joining her on her forthcoming UK arena tour. Tickets for Cheryl supported by Tinchy are on-sale now and are available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

Tinchy Stryder was 2009’s biggest selling male solo artist in the UK and over the past two years the rapper has scored a string of hit singles, a top-selling album, and has embarked on nationwide sell-out headline tours. Tinchy also had the prize role of opening the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury in 2010 and provided the support on Akon and Rihanna's UK shows, two of the UK's biggest tours of 2011. After enjoying success with his three previous albums, his fourth ‘Full Tank’ will hit shelves in December 2012.

Cheryl’s single ‘Call My Name’ (11th June) shot straight to #1 within hours of release on iTunes, clocking up record breaking sales. Her third album ‘A Million Lights’ (18th June) and second single ‘Under The Sun’ (3rd September) followed suit in terms of chart success. The album follows Cheryl’s previous solo albums ‘3 Words’ and ‘Messy Little Raindrops’ both of which hit #1 in the charts. Cheryl will be performing songs from all three albums on the tour as well as some surprises.

Although this will be Cheryl’s first headline arena tour, she is certainly no stranger to the live circuit. She opened as special guest on the Black Eyed Peas European tour in 2010 and also played four sold-out arena tours as part of Girls Aloud.
