Slipknot confirmed for Sonisphere

Sonisphere have announced that Slipknot will be headlining at knebworth in July 2011

Slipknot will be performing an exclusive gig at Sonisphere festival at Knebworth in July 2011 as well as following the Sonisphere festival around Europe to perform there energetic, some what insane show that needs to be seen to be appreciated.
Following the lost of there founding member Paul Gray who passed away last year, Slipknot will not be replacing Paul but will have a bassist at the back of the stage to fill in whilst the rest of them bring the fans the spirit of Slipknot and celebrate his Legacy.

Sonisphere will run from 8-10Th July 2011, and if 2010 is anything to go by then this festival is going to be huge. With a European tour Sonisphere brings everything its about to as many people as possible, expanding rapidly its a must see event for 2011!!
