The immersive and interactive experience of BoomTown Fair returned to Hampshire’s Matterley Estate over 13th – 16th August, welcoming a record amount of ‘citizens’ as the festival grew by 10,000 from 2014, expanding the metropolis to 50,000 capacity.

Even with the additional numbers the fair achieved a sell-out for the 7th year running, with tickets getting snapped up across the globe and a huge international audience heading to the theatrical extravaganza from over 50 different countries.

Chapter 7 was a highlight in BoomTown’s history and a culmination of seven years-worth of boundary breaking ambition fusing perfectly with the electric mass of citizens the festival attracts!

For those who are yet to experience BoomTown, the community is unlike any other, over 500 individual musical acts from across the world, hundreds of walkabout performers and actors, tens of thousands of the most playful, friendly and enthusiastic people all coming together to create most spectacular show on the planet!

Check out the full after- fair video to take a trip through the winding streets, bumping into characters from across the city and experience the moment when the revolution emerged from the shadows…
