Hideout Festival 2012

After months of speculation from eager fans, Hideout Festival has finally revealed its much-anticipated line-up of boat parties, which will be laid on throughout the event in Croatia this Summer.

Following the unbounded success of Hideout festival’s sell-out boat parties at it’s debut last year, ticket holders have been fervently awaiting the release of this year’s boats to get their hands on tickets for what are set to be a major highlight of the whole event.

A grand total of 16 boats will set sail from the beachside town of Novalja – the local town in which festival attendees will stay – with late afternoon boats setting sail in time for the stunning Croatian sunsets. Throughout the course of the festival, each vessel will be commandeered by the hottest labels and finest artists on today’s dance music scene and headed up by some of the most superlative artists in the main festival line-up.

Hideout is welcoming as boat party executives some of the most prevalentlabels in the house and techno sphere. Crosstown Rebels will be hosting it’s own constituents, including head honcho Damian Lazarus, while Dirtybird are directing a line-up headlined by label founder Claude Von Stroke, who’ll play alongside Julio Bashmore and Eats Everything. 20:20 Vision will host a boat featuring lady of the moment Maya Jane Coles, Ralph Lawson and Si Baker.

Also captaining their own ships are the likes of Annie Mac, Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sound – who’ll be enlisting Jackmaster, Stopmakingme and People Get Real – and festival headliners Chase & Status and setting sail with label mates Redlight and 16 Bit. Meanwhile Jackathon & Zutekh are kicking off their own affairs with sets from Heidi and Soul Clap.

Some of Hideout’s premium club partners will also be at the bow, heading up their own boats. Bigger than Barry, Chibuku, Drop The Mustard, Jaunt, Just Jack, Mono_Cult, We Own & Zutekh will be taking the helm, each with their own unique line-ups of some of the most remarkable artists on the scene.

Welcome Boats will take place on the Wednesday prior to festival kick-off, serving up a choice between the Welcome to Hideout Beats or Bass party. The Beats party will impart house, tech and disco beats fronted by People Get Real and Mike Jones. Meanwhile the Bass boat, conducted by North Base and Mak, will take out to sea an infusion of D&B and dubstep.

Boats will set sail from 1pm, with the last boats leaving at 6pm and evening return at 9pm in time for the evening’s proceedings. Full boat party line-ups and details can be found on the Hideout website Hideout Festival.com
