The Willow Festival is a three day event attracting in excess of 50,000 visitors in 2012 and continues to be the city’s premier arts event showcasing 123 live bands and many solo acts as well as comedy and street acts.
The festival is not a big name event and is focused on unsigned or new acts of all genres, although it often attracts bigger name artists too. All the music at the festival is played live. No faking it, miming or boy / girl bands with backing tracks.
Other attractions include our extreme ride fairground, kids fair, art and crafts demonstrations, food village, alternative and exotic market, fair price bars and general silliness.
