Unearthed Festival 2026
Unearthed Festival returns from 19-21 June 2026 at Cerbid farm near Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales. This three-day event is set in the scenic Pembrokeshire countryside with camping and is close to the coast and St Davids, Britain’s smallest city.
Music and Workshops
Enjoy a diverse lineup across multiple stages featuring reggae, folk, funk, and ambient electronica. Daytime workshops include yoga, meditation, dance, movement, and arts and crafts in a communal circus tent. Jam sessions and drum circles invite active participation.
Food and Sustainability
Local vegetarian food stalls and juice bars offer healthy options. The festival promotes sustainability with recycling, composting toilets, and vegetarian catering to reduce environmental impact.
Community and Atmosphere
Unearthed is a welcoming, inclusive festival focused on kindness and respect for the land. Families are supported with kids’ areas and workshops, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Evenings feature acoustic jam circles, campfire singalongs, and a closing fire ceremony with dancers and drummers, creating a magical atmosphere.
By car: Cerbid (the festival site) is easily reached via the main roads of West Wales. From Cardiff and Newport, take the M4 west, then the A48 toward Carmarthen and join the A40 westbound through Haverfordwest. Continue toward St Davids on the A487, then follow local signs to Cerbid. If you’re coming from Swansea or western Wales, you can similarly join the A40 (via Carmarthen) or approach along the A487 via Fishguard and St Davids. On-site parking is provided for ticket holders, though spaces are limited – car-sharing is strongly encouraged. As a guide, driving times are about 2 hours from Cardiff, 3 hours from Bristol, and around 1–1.5 hours from Swansea. The final lanes into the site are narrow country roads, so please take care and allow extra journey time on busy weekends.
By train and bus: The nearest station is Haverfordwest, which lies on the main line from Cardiff through Swansea. From Haverfordwest station it’s roughly a 30–40 minute taxi ride to Cerbid. You can also take a Stagecoach bus (Route T11 or similar) from Haverfordwest to St Davids, and then a short taxi onward. Fishguard Harbour station is another option (about an hour from the site by road); from there local buses or taxis head toward St Davids and nearby, though schedules can be infrequent on weekends. Consult the train and bus timetables ahead of time, or consider train+taxi combinations to ensure you arrive in plenty of time for the first acts.
By air: The closest major airports are Cardiff Airport (CWL) and Bristol Airport (BRS), each about 2–3 hours by road. Both airports have flight connections to the UK and Europe. From Cardiff you can rent a car or take a shuttle train into Cardiff Central and catch a train to Swansea or Haverfordwest (transferring at Carmarthen or Swansea). From Bristol, take the airport shuttle to Temple Meads or Parkway station and connect by train via Cardiff/Swansea. Other options include flying to Birmingham or London and taking trains to Wales, but be aware the last legs of the journey may require road travel. In all cases, plan your trip carefully, since public transport in rural Wales can be limited – many visitors find it easiest to pick up a hire car and drive down.
Accommodation: The festival ticket includes on-site camping, so many attendees bring tents or campervans and stay right at Cerbid. Facilities (like toilets and water taps) are provided for campers. If camping isn't your style, book early: St Davids (about 10 minutes away) has a range of B&Bs, inns and self-catering cottages, and nearby Solva or Newgale have guest houses. Haverfordwest (20 minutes by car) offers hotels, hostels and supermarkets for any final supplies. You can also find glamping sites and farm stays dotted around Pembrokeshire if you prefer more comfort. Wherever you stay, remember that June weekends are busy in West Wales—plan ahead and reserve your lodging well before the festival.
