Power to the Party
The first ever Afropunk celebration in the UK is in the form of Power to the Party. Launched in 2016, the celebration brings together the Afropunk sounds of the black American punk scene and those inspired by them to London. They have been holding festivals since 2005, the first in Brooklyn, New York City but they have since moved around the world.
