The newly created Herts Jazz Festival '11 will take place at the recently revived Herts Jazz Club in Welwyn Garden City for 3 days from 19th August to the 21st August 2011. Lots of great artists such as pianists Jason Rebello, Stan Tracey, Leon Greening and Dave Newton, saxophonists Tim Garland, Peter King and Alan Skidmore have been confirmed. There will also be two musician masterclasses: Van Morrison/Robbie Williams drummer Ralph Salmins will unveil all the tricks of the trade, while top vocalist Trudy Kerr will offer insights into the world of jazz singing. Tickets for the whole weekend are available but there are also tickets for individual perfs as well.
