Edinburgh Fringe Festival is a citywide arts festival in Edinburgh, operating across hundreds of stages in theatres, concert halls, bars, parks and temporary spaces.

The programme spans theatre, comedy, dance, circus, cabaret, music, spoken word and children’s shows, with free, ticketed and street performances running from morning to late night.

Its open-access model means anyone with a story to tell and a venue willing to host them can take part. The audience base is broad, drawing locally from Edinburgh, across Scotland, the rest of the UK and internationally.
