Tony Stark

Tony Stark is a New York City emocore quintet named after the alias of the comic-book character Iron Man. The group consists of singer John, guitarists Rob and Pete, bassist Ray and drummer Wayne. It starts as a side project for several members of the hardcore punk band Awkward Thought before developing into a full-time act.

Recording and release

A demo attracts the attention of A.J. Falvo, owner of Resurrection A.D. Records, who signs the band. That leads to the EP High Tech Low Life, issued in 1998.

Tracks

The release includes the tracks “Insider Candy”, “What You Are”, “Homewrecker” and “Trailer”. “Trailer” appears on 411VM Skateboard Magazine #37.
