Taz Buckfaster

Taz Buckfaster is a Scottish grime producer and occasional DJ. He starts making electronic music at 17, first working in house and techno before moving into grime and other harder-edged bass music.

Activity and scene work

He helps set up raves to help spread the sound in Scotland and also helps organise grime events. As a DJ, he plays venues from Glasgow to London.

Performances and support

One noted appearance is opening for Frisco at the Back 2 The Lab Vol. 2 launch at the ICA. His music also receives radio support from DJ Tootsi of Rinse.FM and Mary Anne Hobbs of BBC Radio 1, and Goldie is named as a fan.
