Roadside Bombs are a four-piece streetpunk rock and roll group from Sonoma, California, active since 2008. The band comes out of the Sonoma County punk rock scene and includes former members of The Bodies, The Muggers and The Burdens. They are also known as Santa Rosa’s own, reflecting their wider North Bay roots.

Style and sound

The band plays raw but melodic punk rock with a streetpunk and old-school edge. Their music combines straightforward punk energy with clear hooks and occasional hardcore influence. The lyrics carry a message, but the band presents it without a heavy-handed or overly serious approach.

Recording and releases

Roadside Bombs release a four-track 7-inch EP called Bring Em Home. The title track centres on an anti-war message, and the set also includes Tax Revolution, My Side and One Two. The record shows the band’s balance of melodic writing, vocal confidence and guitar work across short, direct songs.

Live history and associations

The group has shared stages with Agnostic Front, The Templars and Pressure Point. Their reputation is tied to a working punk scene in Sonoma County, with the members described as seasoned veterans of that community.
