Rituals

Rituals is a group from Edinburgh, Scotland, active since 2016. It is associated with post-metal, sludge, doom metal, drone and post-rock, and Ryan Sandison is a member.

The name Rituals is also used by several other acts, including a doomy post-metal band from Phoenix, Arizona that features members of Hella Mounds and issues releases through Alerta Antifascista Records and Replenish Records; a black metal band from the U.S.; a metal band from Newcastle, UK; a project based in Tacoma in 2008 and 2009 that releases the Color Tape series; a Toronto post-punk outfit formed by Adam Christopher Seward with Matt Bourassa and Leon Taheny; and experimental saxophone music by Jacob Ridderberg from Copenhagen.
