Never Means Maybe
Never Means Maybe are a five-piece band from the Essex music scene, associated with post-hardcore, screamo, emocore and hardcore. They describe a style that draws on different parts of heavy alternative music and is also referred to as “pop-post-hardcore”.
Sound and lineup
Their music features hard-hitting drums, syncopated guitar riffs, large choruses and a three-part vocal approach. The band’s line-up is a quintet, and its live presentation is built around high energy and performance intensity.
Live activity and touring
Never Means Maybe have played more than 400 shows across the UK and tour regularly. They have toured with Bury Tomorrow and My Passion, alongside additional headline tours. They also establish a strong live reputation on the festival circuit, appearing at Download, Sonisphere, T in the Park and Hevy.
Releases and media
The band releases a second EP titled Strangers. Its singles, “Ziva Killed Houdini” and “Inhale The Chaos”, receive airplay and rotation on Scuzz TV and Kerrang. At the time of the information provided, the band is writing material for a debut album.
