Motochrist

Motochrist is an American hard rock and punk rock group formed in 1998 by singer and bassist Danny Nordahl and lead guitarist Marc Diamond. Nordahl has also played with New York Loose, Faster Pussycat, Stiv Bators and The Throbs, while Diamond has also been associated with New York Loose, The Dwarves and Blister. The group also includes Scott Ellis and Chad Stewart.

Recordings

The band’s debut album is 666-Pack in 2000. Its second album, Greetings from the Bonneville Salt Flats, appears in 2003. Corvette Summer follows in 2012 and is produced by Gilby Clarke of Guns N’ Roses. Motochrist also places tracks on The Best of the Cadillac Club and Dr. Wu Compilation Volume 2.

Style and influences

Motochrist’s music draws on the Ramones, Black Sabbath and punk rock. The group is associated with hard rock, stoner rock, speedrock and punk rock.
