Lorelle Meets The Obsolete

Lorelle Meets The Obsolete is a group from Guadalajara, Mexico, associated with indie rock, krautrock, psychedelic rock, shoegaze and stoner rock. The band is built around Lorelle, who handles vocals, electric guitar and electric bass. In live settings, the group also uses guest musicians, including Hugo Quezada on bass and Carlos González on drums.

The project’s debut release, On Welfare, comes out on Captcha Records. The band’s sound is identified with psych rock, alongside shoegaze and krautrock influences.

The Obsolete contributes drums, percussion, electric bass, vocals, casiotone, and both electric and acoustic guitars.
