Loick Essien is a 20-year-old urban soul singer from Fulham, West London who is signed to Sony.
A former child actor,dancer and model, he attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School, and appeared in British TV series and videos for Beyoncé and Big Brovaz, before embarking on a musical career with producer Skillz.
Since then, he's appeared on the Bashy single Black Boys. According to the Stuttering Songfacts, Loick released his debut solo single "Love Drunk" in the United Kingdom on October 12, 2010 through Sony Music, where it debuted at #57 in the UK chart.
Essien is due to release his first major label album Identity in 2011, including collaborations with Chipmunk, N-Dubz and Stargate.
