Lexy
Lexy is the name used by two different artists: a Korean hip-hop and R&B singer and rapper under YG Entertainment, and a German techno producer. The Korean artist debuts in 2003 at MBC’s Music Camp with the album Lexury, which takes five years to make, and is the first solo female artist to debut under YG Entertainment. She releases the albums Lexury, Lextacy, Rush and The Lexy. After leaving YG Entertainment, she signs with SB&W, a subsidiary connected to Sony BMG and Wider Than, run by the local music site Melon.
Korean singer and rapper
The Korean Lexy performs in Korean hip-hop and R&B and is known as a rapper and singer. Her early release schedule includes Lexury in 2003, followed by Lextacy in 2005, Rush in 2007 and The Lexy in 2008. The name is associated with her work as a female solo artist within YG Entertainment.
German producer Alexander Gerlach
The other Lexy is German DJ and producer Alexander Gerlach, born in 1976 in Dresden and based in Berlin. He releases music as part of Lexy & K-Paul and has releases on the Low Spirit and musicismusic labels.
