Herve

Herve is the simplified name used by Joshua Harvey, a London-based producer associated with fidget house, electro house, electro and house. He also uses the aliases Voodoo Chilli, The Young Lovers, The Count Of Monte Cristal and Action Man.

Associated projects and releases

Harvey performs as part of Speaker Junk with Trevor Loveys. The pair remix Basement Jaxx’s Take Me Back To Your House and Spektrum’s Don’t Be Shy, and they also run Speaker Junk Recordings together. Harvey also records as Dead Soul Brothers.

Under The Count & Sinden, he has an album planned for Domino Records. As The Young Lovers, he is linked with Loungin, and the collaborative project Machines Don’t Care includes an album release. His work as Herve includes the single Machines Can Do The Work, credited with Fatboy Slim, and he also appears on a version titled Fatboy Slim vs Herve’s Machines Can Do The Work.
