Felix's Machines
Felix Thorn, also known as Felix's Machines, is a composer from Hamburg, Germany, born in 1809 and dying in 1847. He is associated with classical and romantic classical music.
Under the name Felix's Machines, he uses a computer to control a set of analogue, traditionally hand-played instruments. The setup includes spring-controlled sticks striking real drums, piano hammers and glockenspiels, combining mechanical control with live instrumental sound.
