After the breakup with Eluveitie, Anna Murphy (Vocals, Hurdy Gurdy), Ivo Henzi (Guitars) and Merlin Sutter (Drums), promised they would keep on making music together. The outfit would be called Cellar Darling after Anna Murphy's first solo album.
Their first music was brought to the audience on the 23. September 2016 with a single called "Challenge".
