Alex Winston is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Bloomfield Hills, United States, who is based in Detroit. Born in 1987, she works in indie pop and related pop and indie settings.

She is classically trained in opera, and names Little Richard, The Beach Boys and The Cardigans among her musical favourites. Her sound combines older influences with more contemporary elements and a personal style.
