Southburgh Festival of World Music began life in 2009 and is a fun-filled family day which brings everyone together. Celebrate music and the arts in a safe and exciting environment by watching acts, taking part in workshops, interacting and sharing experiences or just chill out in the sunshine (we hope!)
The festival is a non-profit organisation and raises money for the Mudeka Foundation which helps change the lives of children in Zimbabwe. If you want to make a weekend of it you can camp out anytime between Friday and Sunday and stalls will serve West Indian food and other local produce.
The organizers are expecting another sell out year so make sure you grab your tickets before it is too late. Acts such as Headspace, Twisted Piglet and Anna Mudeka will be performing this year.
