Marvellous began life at Wellington Country Park in 2004 and expanded quickly to incorporate other venues and grow in size. By 2007 it was back to just being held at Wellington but the line-ups are just as great as ever.
In addition to the live music Marvellous has a family friendly feel with a funfair, picnic areas, bouncy castle and face painting, as well as many catering stalls and a gourmet marquee restaurant. The finale has plenty to offer too with a huge party and a firework display.
The festival draws in a wide range of well-known cover artists and bands as well as original artists including Queen The Great Pretender, UK Foo Fighters, Legend, Dolly Parton Story, the Bogus Brothers, Fleetwood Bac, Platinum, Perfect Alibi, The Ultimate Michael Jackson, The Duran Duran Experience, and Jack Shepherd.
