Silloth Music & Beer Festival
Founded in 2001 Silloth Music & Beer Festival is a small and intimate affair which offers up fine local flavours in terms of both music and ale. It takes place in a large marquee on the green in the Cumbrian town of Silloth-on-Solway and brings together fantastic local musical talent, well-known bands and high quality ales and ciders.
In 2015 The Silloth Music & Beer Festival is in its 15th year and there are plans for up to 16 bands and a choice of 75 different ales and ciders to sample. As a beer festival it is designed for over 18s only after 7pm but there are children’s sessions and activities during the day time. The line-up so far includes From The Jam, The Hoochie Coochie Moonshine Band, Luke Matear, Holborn Hillbillies and Miss Cindy Hoten.
