New Quay is a beautiful fishing village on Cardigan Bay in West Wales and the music festival was set up by volunteers on a non profit making basis. Any surplus that is raised is used for a local good cause. For example in 2007 the festival bought musical instruments for a local school.

In 2015 keep an eye out for headline acts The Legendary Real Thing on Sunday 1st August, and Pearl Jammers- the world's greatest Pearl Jam tribute band- on Sunday 2nd August.
