31 July - 02 August 2015 The Brooksbank School, Victoria Road, Elland, West Yorkshire, HX50QG
Inn-Ovation is an eclectic mix of folk, rock and acoustic music which is hosted by a small community group for the enjoyment of the whole community. The festival was designed as a mission to save the only pub in the village from being lost to development and made to re-open as a community social hub. The festival is therefore raising money to help a community save their pub.
In 2013 the festival hosted a major music show at Halifax Victoria Theatre and platinum selling singer-songwriter Al Stewart performed a benefit show for the village.
The festival strives to be as engaging as possible with local organisations and communities and therefore the venue for the festival is in a local school. It is a great way to combine a community approach with the staff and pupils being heavily involved.
Across the three days of the festival expect to see acts such as Roger Davis, Julian Dawson, The Poozies, Acoustic Strawbs and Three Boxes.
