The Fressingfield Music Festival began in 2006 and has become a significant annual event in the calendar in the village of Fressingfield which has grown into a number of concerts with maintain a diverse variety of shows for classical and jazz music lovers.
The festival is five nights of live music which takes place in the last week of September with a finale concert on the Saturday night. Friday night is a popular night and has become the jazz night. The festival has been twice described by Gramophone Magazine as "one of the best events worldwide".
The concerts take place in the church of St Peter and St Paul which has a capacity of 220 which is perfect for the acoustic sounds of live music.
In 2015 Fressingfield is celebrating it's 11th annual festival with five exception concerts planned including performances by The Feinstein Ensemble, Badinage, The Choir of Norwich Cathedral, The Gareth Williams Trio and The Commonwealth Orchestra.
