Blues in the City Festival started in 2011 running for a long weekend in October in The Social Club and surrounding pubs in Chelmsford.

2015's festival takes place from Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th October 2015 and the chosen charity the festival are supporting this year is the Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary near Chelmsford, Essex.
