By road, Chipping Norton is easily reached from the main motorways. From London or the south, take the M40 north to Junction 9 (Bicester) then follow the A4421 and A44 signs to Chipping Norton. From the north or west (for example, Birmingham or Gloucester) follow the M5 and then the A44 eastbound. The town has several public car parks for visitors. From London’s airports, travelers often take a train or coach to Oxford or Banbury and then continue by car or local transit. In any case, the key routes are via the M40 and A44 which bring you into the Cotswolds.
