Next year’s Gig on the Green music festival is going to be bigger and better than ever with something for all the family. Spread over Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June 2016 - the first day will be the usual full-on day of high energy music, dancing and fun, featuring a selection of the UK’s best tribute acts, interspersed with the very best local musical talent. The second day, Gig on the Green "Unwind" will be a more mellow affair, featuring blues, jazz and swing, including home-grown local talent currently performing in some of the West End’s top musicals.
Their top line up of local and tribute artists has been selected to include music to appeal to all ages and plenty of different music styles from rock and pop to the Rat Pack. With the addition of a second day, Gig on the Green Unwind allows them to include a more laid-back music vibe more suited to a chilled Sunday on the Green.
