We Were Promised Jetpacks

We Were Promised Jetpacks are a Scottish indie rock band from Edinburgh, formed in 2003. Their line-up includes Adam Thompson on vocals and guitar, Michael Palmer on guitar, Sean Smith on bass and Darren Lackie on drums. Stuart McGachan also joins the band from February 2014.

The band is associated with indie rock and post-punk revival, and it is signed to Fat Cat Records. Its studio albums are These Four Walls (2009), In the Pit of the Stomach (2011), Unravelling (2014), The More I Sleep The Less I Dream (2018) and Enjoy the View (2021). It also releases the EP Out of Interest (2020) and the live album E Rey - Live in Philadelphia, recorded during the 2013 tour.
